متن کاملAmmonium Chloride as a Potential Candidate for the Treatment and Controlling of Covid-19
Coronaviruses, pathogens with a zoonotic potential, are positive sense single-stranded RNA viruses. SARS Coronavirus-2, the cause of Covid-19 infection, is from the betacoronavirinea subfamily, which has close genomic and proteomic similarity to SARS Coronavirus-1(1). Given the genomic proximity of these two viruses, studies on SARS Coronavirus-1 can be used to control or detect SARS Coronaviru...
متن کاملCyclic variations in nitrogen uptake rate of soybean plants: ammonium as a nitrogen source.
When NO3- is the sole nitrogen source in flowing solution culture, the net rate of nitrogen uptake by nonnodulated soybean (Glycine max L. Merr. cv Ransom) plants cycles between maxima and minima with a periodicity of oscillation that corresponds with the interval of leaf emergence. Since soybean plants accumulate similar quantities of nitrogen when either NH4+ or NO3- is the sole source in so...
متن کاملAmmonium polyphosphate as a source of phosphorus and nonprotein nitrogen for monogastrics.
Ammonium polyphosphate (APP) was substituted for 0, 50 and 100% of the P supplied by defluorinated rock phosphate (DRP) in corn-soybean meal diets for growing rats and growing-finishing (G-F) pigs. The diets were formulated to contain 10% protein, .75% Ca and .60% P. Two-thirds of the P in the control diet was supplied by DRP. Replacement of 50 or 100% of the DRP with APP increased the dietary ...
